Answer

1. Learning media are media that are used in the process of delivering information or learning material from teachers to students. These media serve to make it easier for teachers to explain material that is difficult to understand if only using verbal expressions.

There are four types of learning media that I know, namely, audio, visual, audio-visual, and multimedia.

2. Because the media is a teaching aid that influences the climate, conditions, and learning environment that are organized and created by educators, so that teachers must be able to make and choose interesting and varied media in order to be able to convey the material or teaching materials properly, make media that according to the teaching material so that students are able to understand the material through the media delivered by the educator.

3. The criteria that need to be considered in choosing a good learning media are as follows.

- In Accordance with Purpose

Instructional media must be selected based on instructional objectives which would be better if it refers to at least two of the three cognitive, affective and psychometric domains.

- Practical, flexible and enduring

The use of the environment and something simple but effective will be more effective than expensive and complicated learning media.

- Able and Skilled to Use

Whatever media is chosen, the teacher must be able to use the media

- Target grouping

The selection of learning media cannot be generalized, indeed for certain universal learning media it can still be used, but for more specifically each study group must consider the selection of learning media for each group.

- Technical Quality

Selection of the media that will be used must meet certain technical requirements.

4. Yes, I think learning media needs to be developed. Because the media is very helpful for teachers who deliver learning material to students. With creative and innovative media, it will be easier for teachers to convey material and students will more easily understand learning material, students are more enthusiastic in learning, do not feel bored, and cause joy when learn if the teacher can create good media and attract the attention of all students.
